Job Description:

The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) is pleased to announce our Internship Opportunities Program for 2024. This program provides students with a unique chance to contribute to the Olympic movement, gain hands-on experience, and be a part of the team supporting Team USA’s pursuit of excellence in sports.

  1. Assist in the planning and execution of events, programs, and initiatives supporting Olympic athletes.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies.
  3. Support administrative tasks related to athlete services, training programs, and competition logistics.
  4. Participate in research projects related to sports science, nutrition, and athlete development.
  5. Collaborate with USOC professionals on special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Pursuing a degree in sports management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Passion for sports and a commitment to the Olympic values.

Experience:

  • Previous internship or coursework related to sports management or the Olympic movement is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with sports events, athlete support programs, or marketing initiatives is a plus.

Skills:

  1. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  5. Adaptability and eagerness to learn in the dynamic world of sports.
