The United States Geological Survey (USGS) is pleased to announce Internship Opportunities for motivated students in 2024. Responsibilities:
- Support research and data collection activities related to geological and environmental studies.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant field (geology, environmental science, geography, etc.).
- Strong academic background with a focus on earth sciences.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Basic knowledge of GIS and other geospatial tools.
Experience: Previous coursework or research experience in earth sciences is preferred but not mandatory.
