Job Description:
The United States Marshals Service is pleased to announce the Internship Students Program for 2024. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of law enforcement, contribute to critical projects, and work alongside professionals committed to upholding justice.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Deputy U.S. Marshals on various law enforcement operations
- Assist in legal research, case preparation, and analysis
- Support operational activities within relevant U.S. Marshals offices
- Engage in courtroom proceedings and witness security logistics
- Contribute to the mission of ensuring the safety and security of the judicial process
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited institution
- Pursuing a degree in criminal justice, law, or a related field
- Strong academic performance and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Experience: While prior law enforcement experience is not required, a demonstrated interest in criminal justice and a commitment to public service are essential.
