Job Description:

We are excited to offer internship opportunities for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the maritime industry through the St. Lawrence Seaway Internship Program. This program provides students with the opportunity to learn about the operations and management of the St. Lawrence Seaway, a vital waterway connecting the Great Lakes to the Atlantic Ocean. Interns will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to various projects and initiatives.

1. Assist with daily operations of the St. Lawrence Seaway, including vessel traffic management and lock operations.
2. Conduct research and analysis on topics related to maritime transportation, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure management.
3. Support ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and environmental stewardship within the Seaway.
4. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement outreach and educational programs for the public and stakeholders.
5. Provide administrative support, including data entry, report generation, and correspondence with stakeholders.

Requirements:
