Job Description:
Embark on a rewarding internship experience in Public Affairs, contributing to impactful projects and gaining hands-on exposure to communications, media relations, and community engagement. Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of strategic communication plans.
- Assist in drafting press releases, articles, and social media content.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare summaries for internal distribution.
- Contribute to the organization of events, press conferences, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for communication materials.
- Engage in research to stay informed about industry trends and public sentiment.
- Provide administrative support to the Public Affairs department.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (communications, public relations, journalism, or related field).
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A genuine interest in public affairs, communications, and media relations.
Experience:
While prior internship experience is not required, candidates with relevant experience or coursework in public relations and communications will be preferred.
Skills:
