Requirements:

  1. U.S. citizenship.
  2. Enrollment in an accredited college or university (undergraduate or graduate level).
  3. Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as geography, GIS, remote sensing, or related disciplines.
  4. Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  5. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  6. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills:

  1. Geospatial Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing geographic information.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with geospatial software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and data formats (e.g., shapefiles, imagery).
  3. Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and draw conclusions.
  4. Communication: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
  6. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and techniques in a rapidly evolving field.

Experience:

Previous experience with geospatial analysis or related fields is preferred but not required. However, a passion for geospatial intelligence and a desire to contribute to national security efforts are essential.
