Job Description:
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is pleased to announce its Summer Internship Program for 2024, offering undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of transportation and infrastructure. As a summer intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting FHWA’s mission to enhance the nation’s highway system through innovation and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with FHWA teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for transportation programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and guidelines.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and site visits to gain insights into the transportation industry.
- Engage in research activities related to highway engineering, planning, or policy.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a relevant field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Public Administration, etc.).
