The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is excited to announce its Internship Program for Undergraduate Students in 2024. This program offers a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to gain firsthand experience in regulatory affairs, public health, and the complex world of the FDA. As an intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the FDA’s mission to protect and promote public health.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in research and analysis related to regulatory policies and public health issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, briefings, and other communication materials.
- Collaborate with FDA professionals on ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Attend meetings, take notes, and actively participate in discussions.
- Engage in administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the FDA.
- Contribute to projects related to food safety, drug approvals, medical devices, or other regulatory areas.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a relevant field such as public health, biology, chemistry, regulatory affairs, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record with coursework relevant to public health and regulatory affairs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated interest in public health and regulatory science.
Experience:
- Previous internship, coursework, or volunteer experience in public health or regulatory affairs is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and processes is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
