Job Description:
The Department of Revenue is offering exciting internship opportunities as part of our Internship Program in 2024. Join us to gain hands-on experience in taxation, finance, and government operations. As an intern, you will contribute to critical projects and initiatives while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to tax and revenue matters.
- Support the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with department teams on special projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research on legislative changes and industry trends.
- Assist with customer service inquiries and support outreach programs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to discussions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with a focus on taxation or financial management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience: While prior experience is not required, coursework or experience in taxation, finance, or government operations is a plus.
